As you start to walk on the way, the way appears.

Rumi

Welcome

Hello, I’m Sanaa, and just like Rumi’s words suggest, sometimes the path forward only becomes clear once you take that first step. I know that step can feel daunting, and I want to start by saying: I get it. Taking that first step towards therapy support can feel like climbing a mountain. It's okay if you're feeling nervous, unsure, or even a bit scared. Those butterflies in your stomach? They're completely normal.

Starting therapy is a big decision. You might be wondering, 'Am I really ready for this?' or 'What if I don't know what to say?' Maybe you're worried about opening up to a stranger, or you're concerned about what others might think. These thoughts are all part of the journey, and I want you to know that they're shared by many who've sat where you are now.

But here's the thing - by even considering therapy, especially Islamic counselling, you've already shown incredible strength. It takes courage to look inside yourself and decide you want support. That's not weakness; it's a powerful form of self-care and personal growth.

In my practice at Sanaa Counselling, we take things at your pace. There's no rush, no pressure. We'll start wherever you're comfortable, and together, we'll build a safe space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings freely.

Remember, seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. It's okay to not be okay, and it's okay to ask for support. You don't have to face your challenges alone.

So, whether you're ready to dive in or just dipping your toes in the water, I'm here to support you every step of the way. Let's take this journey together, one small step at a time. You've got this, and I'm here to help.
